KIDZ BOP 2 CD
Description: If your kids love singing along with the first Kidz Bop CD then they'll love Kidz Bop 2, the latest release of songs sung by kids for kids.
Reviews (11):
dont buy Reviewer: Anonymous 07-12-2005 DONT BUY!!! this cd is for little little little little kids who can't listen to innapropriate music. these kidz bop cd's make me sick. listen to the radio or buy the real songs with the words bleeped out. you can get them on itunes i think and just burn them on a cd. also, the little kids who sing on them (who are like 5 by the way) get really annoying and they make you want to slap them. these cd's kill really good songs and just kill really good bands. just buy the real thing, just bleeped out so your precious little kids dont learn mean words and things about the real world.

I like some of these songs, it's fine Reviewer: Lexi "Samantha K" 04-28-2005 First of all, ALL YOU PARENTS WHO THINK THESE CDS ARE INAPPROPRIATE FOR KIDS OF ANY AGE BECAUSE THEY ARE POP OR R&B, YOU ARE SO WRONG!!! THIS CD IS ABSOLUTELY FINE. Kids can listen to this, it's perfectly appropriate. I can tell you that if I were 3 or 4 years old, I'd rather listen to Kidz Bop than watch or listen to Barney or any of that garbage like Wiggles. I never liked Barney. I haven't seen it since I was 20 months old, and I didn't like it then, so I won't like it now. And, the Wiggles didn't come out until I was 10 1/2 and in 5th grade, which is about 8 3/4 years too old to watch that. I'm 13 now (my birthdate is 2/7/1992). So don't tell me that you would substitute baby TV shows and little-kid songs for this. I like some of these songs. I just LOVE Samantha Mumba's "Gotta tell you." That is one of my absolute favorite songs, and the kidz version is really not bad at all. Uncle Kracker's "Follow me" is okay, but it's kind of silly, AND it "Followed you" everywhere you went. I remember hearing it played in a lot of different stores, restaurants, malls, and haircut shops. It almost felt like I was racing up against the song and it was winning.

Why Can't we all just get "NOW"?, Reviewer: Grizmeister57 Missoula, Mt 04-04-2005 Do we really need a separate compilation to satisfy our toddlers? Do our toddlers always need to listen to music where the singers sound like they are the toddlers age? What is wrong with now? why do we need an extra compilation to cater to the under 9 crowd. Kids will eventually sing some pop songs as they progress into higher level music classes. Or is this compilation only for the music teachers that think the kidz bop kids may appeal to the class better than the real artists. The truth is that you will find much better songs on Now totally hits or any other compilation. IF you can't find their favorite song on Now you can always Get it off of ITunes and burn a CD for them. After all the commercials the producers of this compilation use to persuade parents to buy their kids this fake trash are jsut as annoying as the singers themselves. "kidz bop is the best thing for your kids to listen to" I don't THINK SO!! There is much better alternatives to this filtered kidz bop garbage.

I don't believe this... Reviewer: Anonymous 02-25-2003 These kids do not understand the meanings of the damn songs. "Dilemma" was obviously a kid's song but I don't get how this hapenned... I mean...How could---Next thing you know they'll be singing "Me and My Girlfriend"(and not Jay Z's but 2pac's original one). Or no wait they'll probably be singing Eminem songs, yeah like "Kim" and "Cleaning Out My Closet." Save yourself a dissappointment(I WAS NOT CRAZY ENOUGH TO BUY THIS!!) and buy some GOOD music... Tribute's are not very easy to make, so I understand how tough it was(especially with kids singing it, running around the room. Why'd I have to bring that up??).

Very interesting... Reviewer: Anonymous 01-05-2003 The review from Joseph Judge is exactly the same (word-for-word) as Kidz Bop 1. I smell a corporate plant.
For those saying that it's not for adults "but your kids will love it", must have little robots instead of kids. I let my 3 year old daughter listen to these things after hearing the originals, and not only did she know the difference, but she absulotely HATED the Kidz Bop versions.
If there was a negative star rating, this line of CDs would get it.

I'm about to go insane Reviewer: JD 01-03-2003 To all the parents that say these cd's are not as bad as they thought, I guess that means they were expecting to listen to a Yoko Ono cd. Actually, having to listen to this is much worse than listening to a screeching woman. I personally think that the singers should do us parents a favor and stop singing permanantly (not to mention, those kids could use voice lessons). I can't think of one good thing to say about Kidz Bop...even my 4 year old triplets all hate this. When we listened to this in the car, I had a strong urge to drive off a cliff. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DON'T BUY THIS CD.
PS-I hope they stop those annoying commercials, too.

YA YA YA YA YA!!!!!!!!! Reviewer: singreat Cranford NJ 07-02-2002 Dis CD is double the wickedness!!!!!! I love singin along with the songs. I think it's wierd though how the kidz bop kidz sound like 40 year old men. Wicked wierd!!!!! They should put a parental advisory sticker on this though, because those songs are nasty!!!!!! By this sucka cheif!!!

Not as good as Kidz Bop #1 Reviewer: Kate Picher "Two cat owner" California USA 05-20-2002 My eight year old daughter loves Kidz Bop (#1) so I got her Kidz Bop 2. Just wanted a little variety in the car. We are not familiar with most of the songs on this 2 CD set. Guess we listen to Kidz Bop too much, and not to the radio so we don't know what's hot.

My advise... Reviewer: Joseph Judge Indianapolis, IN 02-28-2002 ...After seeing the commercials, I was reluctant to buy it because I knew that the songs were sung by kids. This made me nervous because I knew this would be played endlessly, and if the songs were butchered I would want to destroy the tapes. But, my kids wanted it, so I came here to get it. Before I got it, I read all of the negative reviews and found myself trying to think of ways to avoid this purchase. After all was said and done, I decided to buy the album anyway. After all, that's what my kids wanted. What a great decision!!! My "Kidz" LOVE Kidz Bop!!! They sing along with every song. They won't stop playing it. And the best part is that I enjoy it myself. It's not one of my personal favorites, but I do find myself singing along with my kids whenever we are in the car. They are all such catchy tunes. MusicSpace did a great job on Kidz Bop and my fellow reviewers did a lousy job! My kids can't wait to get Kidz Bop 2, and neither can I. We've already ordered 2 copies. I hear they also have 2 other Kidz Bop albums. I hope I can find them soon and add them to my collection as well.

This One's Even Better! Reviewer: Soccer Mom TN 02-23-2002 I bought Kidz Bop and it was in "main rotation" is the car CD for many months....They love Kidz Bop 2 even more......its really well done . The songs sound great (I even like it!) and I really appreciate the fact that they've removed any of the "R" lyrics...All in all a great sing~a~long for the car....I highly recomend this. Soccer Mom

YOU WILL HATE THIS TOO!!! Reviewer: "roogirl" Akron, OH 01-15-2002 Oh the humanity!! More songs sung by unknown adults and kids who can't sing like Professionals?! They must be CRAZY!!
