it's good IF ur dog loves to bark

I bought this product for a while for my little yorky because i really wonder what she's trying to say :). Unfortunately, many disappointments when i tried on this product. First, My dog is not a barker, so it took a big while until she barked. Moreover, When my dog bagan to bark this product wasn't ale to catch those barks and also wasn't able to translate them. Furthermore, as i mentioned that my dog is a yoky, so the mic that come with the set is too big for her and it made her feel so unconfortable as i noticed that my dog always scratch her collar everytime i put this mic on.

Other functions in this product also kinda not so interesting. from all of those functions, only 3 that are a real playable;
1st Bark translator - as the name, it's for translating the bark of ur dog
2nd Home alone - to record if ur dog's barking or not while u r not home
3rd MBP or My best friend point - this function will let u know how happy ur dog is and the score comes from the bark record
Other functions are kinda like an electronic book for example, body language function when u access to this function, u will see only ....if ur dog did....., it means...... and i think thesew things we could just buy a book and read it.

My suggestion to anyone who wanna buy this product, be consider about these things:
1. size of ur doggy : in my opinion, this product is good for a mid - large size doggy
2. is ur dog a barker? coz if ur dog is hardly ever bark, it would be a waste to buy this product
3. as i mentions only 3 functions that are really useful, others function u'd better buy some books and read through them.

This item is described best on the inside directions sheet where it says, "this device is for entertainment only," or words to that effect. Be assured that there is NO deep or profound or psychodynamic meaining behind the analysis phrases that are produced in response to your dog's bark. The product works and does what is says. Perhaps my expectations were too high. It is something that you will use once in a great while and that is it.

I had to 'rate' with stars to enter these comments so: It is great that the other reviewers had price-comparison info, but NO ONE told me if the product worked at all. Does it work??? Is it a useful item to have? as a new puppy owner this would have helped me more than the price info. By the way, tomorrow it is on sale for $9.99 locally. I still don't know if it is any good though! LM
