A Big Mess Reviewer: Anonymous 12-03-2003 This product only delivers a big, nasty mess. Don't even try to make the "perfect pancake."

Makes it Harder! Reviewer: Anonymous 11-01-2002 This thing makes pancake making so much harder than it is!! Get a good skillet & then you can make a perfect pancake.

A Total Failure! Reviewer: Anonymous 02-16-2003 This is a total failure! In order not to slop the batter out the side of the pan (which is open), the pancake had to cook so long it was too done and didn't taste good.

Like It! Reviewer: Anonymous 06-04-2002 It does work nice, browns and cooks through, and does slip onto the plate. And, it is dish washer safe!

It's Easy Reviewer: Anonymous 05-31-2002 I really like this little pan. I can now make rounded pancakes all the time. Clean up is very easy and the use of the pan is easy too.

Doesn't Work Well Reviewer: Anonymous 01-17-2003 The idea behind the Perfect Pankcake maker is a good one. Unfortunately, it does not work very well. 8 times out of 10, my pancake does not flip easily. Even though I grease the pan first, and the edges of the pancake are almost dark brown, I usually need to use a spatula to pry the pancake away from the sides of the frying pan for it to release.

A Cheap Piece Of Junk! Reviewer: Anonymous 11-11-2002 Perfect pancake? I have never seen such a battered mess in my life. Batter went flying everywhere! And to top it off, after one use, the non stick coating was literally flaking off my pancake maker in dime size pieces. And I only washed it in soap and warm water. What a cheap piece of junk!

A Total Waste of Money Reviewer: Anonymous 02-14-2004 This item is a total waste of money with no redeeming qualities. It is very cheaply made & the nonstick surface scratches even if you use only plastic on it. The design is terrible & the batter dispenser does not work properly.

A Perfect Time Waster Reviewer: Anonymous 02-19-2002 This item is a perfect time waster. Remember if it sounds too good to be true, IT IS.

Awful! Reviewer: Anonymous 02-09-2003 Do not buy into the hype of The Perfect Pancake maker. I actually think it makes it harder to make a relatively simple pancake. When I tried to flip it over, the pancake didn't flip, it stuck to the top and the rest of the batter went everywhere. No matter how thick I made my batter, it always leaked out of the bottom of the dispenser.

Convenient & Easy to Use Reviewer: Anonymous 06-02-2002 This is a user-friendly pan.
I found it convenient and easy to use. I also found it easy to clean. It makes good size pancakes for the family.

Fun To Use Reviewer: Anonymous 11-26-2002 The perfect pancake maker does make perfect pancakes. It just takes a trial and error process. Also it is very easy to clean.

Poorly Designed Reviewer: Anonymous 07-12-2002 This machine is poorly designed. The hinge is way too high and it allows showers of batter to escape during flipping. The only way to remedy the 'batter showers' is with a thicker batter. But thick batters decrease the quality of the pancakes.

A Scam! Reviewer: Anonymous 07-23-2002 I used the Perfect Pancake two times before I tossed it into the trash. It was so perfectly terrible that I didn't bother selling it. This is the biggest scam I've ever seen.

I Like It Reviewer: Anonymous 07-20-2002 I like the Perfect Pancake maker. It's a nice product.

A perfect mess! Reviewer: Anonymous 08-30-2002 This product suffers from poor design and does not use quality materials. It makes a PERFECT mess, because the batter consistency must be thick enough to have the batter stay in the pan. And when it it is that thick, the pancake tastes awful!

Great Investment Reviewer: Anonymous 06-15-2002 Besides producing excellent pancakes, I have made grilled cheese sandwiches, BLT's, tuna melts, french toast, over easy eggs and crepes on this great machine. This has been one of the best $30 that I've ever spent. I look forward to using it almost every Sunday morning for my pancakes.

Failed with an Egg Reviewer: Anonymous 06-23-2002 I tried making an egg in this & it failed miserably! I waited until there was no liquid left on the top of the egg, put the top down, lifted away from the stove, flipped quickly - and watched in horror as my egg flew across the counter. Since then, I tried again several times & each time the egg flew out of the machine.

Doesn't Work! Reviewer: Anonymous 10-19-2002 This product might have been helpful if the unit fully closed and locked. Instead, when you close it, there is a small gap between the top and bottom. When I fliped the pan, all the batter leaked out the side and part of the pancake still stuck on the top of the machine.

A Good Gift For An Enemy Reviewer: Anonymous 07-08-2002 This product is awful, do not buy it. I promise you a horrible experience. It is the worst invention ever. It does nothing that is advertised & made a big mess of my kitchen.

Waste of Money Reviewer: Anonymous 02-21-2008 This is a total waste of time and money. The only positive is that Walmart will refund your $19.95 if you save your sales receipt.

A Nightmare! Reviewer: Anonymous 07-09-2002 Everything I attempted to cook with this terrible machine was transformed into a flying missile. I had eggs dripping from the kitchen walls and draped over the chairs. The room looked as though someone was staging a food-fight scene in a film. The problem is that there is a separation between the two pans, of about an an inch, which makes it impossible for food to stay in place while the pan is being flipped over. My experience with this product was a nightmare.

Only Good With Solids Reviewer: Anonymous 03-30-2003 This machine worked really well for grilled cheese sandwiches. I think it would work well for anything that is not a liquid-- for example, pancake batter.

It's Fun! Reviewer: Anonymous 01-18-2005 I've never flipped pancakes & had so much fun! I've read many complaints about the batter flying all over, but I think this is because people are making the batter too thin. I did not have this problem at all.

Needed a Spatula Anyway Reviewer: Anonymous 07-07-2002 I found that I needed to use a spatula to keep the food from flying out the side of the machine when "flipping."
Eventually I returned it to the store, because it was more work than a regular pan and spatula.

Threw It In the Garbage Reviewer: Anonymous 04-14-2003 When I tried to remove the pancake, it was stuck hard to the pan. Apparently, the pan is not stick proof, even though it looks like the surface of all the stick proof pans. I ended up throwing it in the garbage after one ruined pancake.

Save your money Reviewer: Lisa Philpott Roanoke, VA USA 10-21-2004 I thought this was a great idea at first. And it did work for a while. But then the teflon coating wore away very fast and the pancakes began sticking and burning.
The only good thing I got out of it was the little pancake pour spout. It does make perfect pancakes. If they don't stick, that is.
I was using it for scrambled eggs. But even that use is gone. If you want good pancakes that don't stick and burn, get a small farberwear frying pan. Costs less and NOTHING sticks to it.
The commercial for this goes *You flip, but they flop.* Sorry guys. But perfect pancake is a flop. :(
*Wal-Mart couldn't even sell the set at $4.00 because no one wanted it.*

Does not work! Don't waste your money! Reviewer: Anonymous 03-15-2005 Thought it looked cool on TV, so bought it at a store, but it doesn't work in reality for me. I'd give it a zero if that were an option. I had the same experience as the previous reviewer; when frying an egg and turning the pan, it slides through the opening! Maybe you need special training to use this pan? Unless you have this training or enjoy cleaning your stove, do not buy this item!

THIS REALLY SUCKS BAD!!!!!!! Reviewer: Stephen Bilbruck ocala, fl 02-23-2005 THIS SHOULD BE -10 IT IS THE WORST THING I'VE EVER BOUGHT.
1. EGGS SLIDE THROUGH THE OPEN ENDS AND FALL OUT INTO THE STOVE AND WHAT A MESS THAT IS. 2. PANCAKES STICK AND THEY DONT TURN OUT THE WAY THEY SHOW ON TV 3. SO WHEN 1 AND 2 FAILED I THOUGHT WELL AT LEAST I COULD MAKE GRILLED CHEESE WITH THEM, WRONG AGAIN THEY ARE NOW IN THE COUNTY LANDFILL. THEY REALLY GOT ME AS I BOUGHT TWO OF THEM. I THINK THERE SHOULD BE A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST THEM

Another gagit that didn't work Reviewer: Anonymous Ontario 03-14-2006 The infomercial was great but it doesn't work. The batter sticks to the grill even if you oil it. Got one for my parents as well and they say the same thing.
