Delicious Outcome, But Hard To Clean Reviewer: Anonymous 09-29-2004 My friends & I have been grilling "beer butt chicken" for years. We place a small chicken on top of an open beer can, and let the beer steam the chicken from the inside out. The flavor is great, but the toxic paint from the aluminum beer cans can be dangerous.
The BLAZIN' CHICKEN ROASTER fixes the paint problems and can add an even better flavor - I tried it with beer, garlic, onion & basil. The results were delicious!
There is one major drawback however-- clean-up. Even though it is a non-stick surface, I had to soak it for 2 days & apply oven cleaner to get off all the gunk.
A Rip Off! Reviewer: Anonymous 10-30-2004 This product is a total rip-off! We followed the instructions carefully, but it caught on fire on the grill. We had invited people to dinner only to have char-broiled chicken. The therometer even melted. I am thankful that I didn't try it inside in the oven. What an awful smell....
