Junk!! Reviewer: Anonymous 00-04-2020 This item is a piece of junk. I have a ryobi model 775r my neighbor has a model 725r. This thing won't fit on either one. You would think the idiots who designed it would take the time to find out what it fits and advertise it correctly. Beware.
Lousy item Reviewer: Anonymous 03-16-2004 The plastic cutters for the weed thrasher pretty much suck. Some will last quite a while and others will get chewed up and spit out in a manner of seconds. I have found that about 90% of the time the cutters last only a few seconds.
Buyer Beware Reviewer: Anonymous 04-18-2003 I am really upset with this product. It claims it fits any size gas trimmer.Not true! I have a homelite straight gas powered trimmer & it will not fit. I bought it and cannot return it. I basically threw my money away.
Steer clear of this product. Reviewer: Anonymous 09-22-2004 I was very disappointed in the fact that the cutters break in the first 10 seconds of using them. This product is a complete rip off and I would strongly advise against buying one. I will go back to dealing with the twine nightmare as at least you can get your trimming done in a reasonable amount of time.
Awful! Reviewer: Anonymous 01-16-2004 Upon using the Weed Thrasher, the cutters fell apart in the first minute of use. I tried 4 different cutters, and the same thing happened to all of them. I was trimming next to some bricks at the time this happened. My suggestion is to not buy this item, as it does not live up to it's TV persona.

Total Rip-off Reviewer: Anonymous 07-01-2006 I paid the $25 for the head and 2 bags of extra cutters. The nylon cutters last about 10 seconds. I was robbed. Please dont buy this junk. Its a scam worse than the spray on hair for bald guys.
Cutters suck Reviewer: Anonymous 07-13-2006 It took awhile to install the head, but once I figured it out, it worked as advertised. The problem is that the cutters are junk. They break off within a few seconds and I went through the entire 12-pack before I got my patio edged. Absolutely NOT recommended. The hassle of trimming with line may suck, but at least it works. This contraption does not!
