    Don't Work!
Reviewer: Anonymous       02-28-2004
After a day or two the air seeps back in. They do work if you don't put much in them, but the colossal amounts they show on TV don't work. They are nice heavy bags for storage though - but forget the space saving feature.

    A Mistake
Reviewer: Anonymous       03-08-2005
The huge bags that you vacuum the air out of have a rubber valve which gets sucked up the vacuum, leaving the item useless. The one I had that didn't lose the valve, worked well. I tried to get a replacement from their customer service but they never arrived - despite their email confirmation.
They initially flatten down well, but the air seeps back in and before too long they are all 'puffed up' again. I will not be making the same mistake again.

    Good Concept Cheap Materials

I bought a 4 bag combo. 2 of the bags worked the other 2 didn't and lost vacum in less than a day. The plastic these bags are made out of is very cheap and eaily torn. IMHO these bags are a waste of time and money. When the patent runs out on this concept and several manufacturers can make competing products perhaps one will make one worth our time and money.

    not as promised

These bags do not do as they say. Of all the bags (of 5), only one stayed sealed. The larger bags looked like the air was removed, but by the next day the vacuum seal was gone. Too much money for what you get.

    Warning - this thing leaks!

A horrible product - cheaply made, and it leaks nonstop! I don't know how they get away with making such a shoddy product.

    Some advise

I bought a combo set of SpaceBags and when I went to use them, I found some tricks to them.... You have to pack your items evenly in the bag, don't fill the bag all the way up on the zipper, you may want to leave about 4-5"inches empty. When you slide the SureZip Slidder, make sure that you are applying pressure on it and pinch the ends of the zipper together just in case it did not get a good grip. When you vacuum the air out DONT TAKE THE CLEAR PLASTIC OUT, OR THE BAG WONT WORK.Ifound this out the had way. After you vacuum it down, press the CLEAR RUBBER PIECE down from the center to re-adjust it and then put the cap on. THIS WORKED FOR ME HOPEFULLY FOR YOU TO, if it doesn't, dont forget they have a 100% replacement guarantee from the manufacturer (800) 469-9044 Customer Service.

    Waste of money

I bought an 11-bag combo. Fifteen minutes after filling and vacuuming the air out (following manufacturer's instructions), the bags started losing air. I thought I had done something wrong and I vacuumed the air out again, but the bags starting losing air immediately after. What a waste of my money!

    Good on first use only....

I bought 5 sets of these for friends when we went on a cruise last Feb. All loved them and the product worked as promised. We all were able to take more clothes in less space and going thru Customs was a breeze. But when I used them for my next two trips, I found that they rip way too easily therefore not serving any purpose except for organization. Or I had trouble getting the air out the special vents which meant they still took up too much space in my suitcase. I found the same problems with the larger bags you use at home. Ripped too easily on 2nd + usages.

    A waste of money

The idea is great, but it doesn't work. I bought 24 of these bags and only a couple of them have been able to hold the air out.
A total waste of money.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

This product SOUNDS great, but it does not work. Simply put, it is garbage. As a previous reviewer stated, the bags are easy to fill, but leave them alone for a few minutes after you have supposedly removed the air and you will hear a hissing sound as the bag slowly inflates. The seals on this bag are not what they should be: At the very least they should be able to keep the vacuum pressure. I paid $10 for an extra large size at Target---only to realize that the bag is not at all sturdy and probably cost about 10 cents to make. Colossal ripoff. Buyer beware! Not even worth a one star rating.

    Did not work for me
Reviewer: Anonymous       12-20-2003
I recently moved to a new, smaller apartment and I thought that these space bags would really help with my storage problems. However, when I tried using them, they didn't work at all! It was so difficult to get the zipper to completely seal the bags, and even after I managed to get the zipper closed all the way, a lot of air still remained in the bag after vacuuming. If I moved the bags even a little, the zipper would become loose and open again. It was so frustrating, I ended up returning this product. My advice to you: don't buy it!

    Poor Product
Reviewer: fbramey   Eastampton, NJ    10-11-2003
I needed something to store some large blankets in and thought this product would be a good choice. After reading some of the reviews that stated flaws about this product I wasn't going to puchase it. However on the advice of a friend who had tried them I bought them anyway.
The bags were easy to fill, but the zipper closure wasn't very secure. I had to secure it by hand since the "Sure Zip Slider" didn't. The plastic is quite thin, but bags deflated nicely with the use of my vacuum cleaner. Overnight, the bags inflated on their own. I was disappointed, but decided to keep the bags for storage anyway. When attempting to move the bags, the zipper closure always popped open and this was when I decided that the bags were worthless.

    Love 'em!!
Reviewer: Anonymous       06-25-2003

I love these things so much! I got a set of 4 large ones at a retail store. I stored all my sweaters, sweatshirts, and winter-like pajamas in 3 of them (with extra room in the 3rd bag because I ran out of clothes!) I couldn't find any more clothes to put in the 4th so I gave it to my mother to use. They don't get as small as I thought they would with sweaters or blankets, but really compress with pillows! I don't know if the travel ones would work that well because somethings don't compress as well as others - but maybe for your pillow! Just remember that down pillows and comforters can't be compressed more than 50%! Even though they didn't get as small I still love them for the protection they give! I just shoved all of them under my bed (I couldn't find regular containers to fit under there, so this solves that wasted space!) I feel more safe having these than boxes that bugs or dust might be able to get in. I have so much space now and I love it! I am going to buy more for blankets and pillows!

    Save your Money!!!!!

I ordered these items as I was moving and wanted to be able to minimize all my clothes and bedding. The seal on the bags are awful (theres a tighter seal on a ziploc bag) and once the air was sucked out they last about 15 minutes before they started to re-inflate with air.So if you can move house in 15 minutes then there worth buying!!!!
