MOVING MEN
Description: Moving Men allows you to effortlessly move heavy pieces of furniture whenever you please. Each piece is made of a highly polished polymer with a super grip insert for legs to rest on. Simply slip Moving Men under each leg and slide to rearrange furniture, dust behind hard to reach areas like the refrigerator, and help with other chores you've been avoiding. Why damage carpet and rugs moving the hard way when Moving Men works great and protects flooring from costly repairs?

Somewhat Helpful Reviewer: Anonymous 07-18-2003 Although these are helpful, don't think Grandma no longer needs your help.

Not Effortless Reviewer: Anonymous 00-00-0000 It can be tricky to get them positioned properly. Heavy objects can also cause them to be less effective.

best $6.50 ever spent! way to go moving men Reviewer: Anonymous chincoteague, va 12-17-2004 The Pastor of my local church introduced me to moving men. Himself and I had to move several HEAVY large items around in a elderly members' home.
We placed the moving men underneath the 4 legs of the items, and moved them VERY EASILY. It still takes a little strength to move heavy items; but saves ALOT OF AGGRAVATION.
My family members were real skeptical as if these things would even work. I did a little demonsration, and they love them! In fact, several of them wanted a set for christmas.
Thanks to amazon.com I dont have to pay $30.00 a set for them.
for $6.50 you can't go wrong!! do yourself a favor, order these today! they will save you, (and your back) alot of aggravation!!!!

Moving Men Work Well, But Do Not Defy Physics Reviewer: Joseph Wilsonville, AL 12-24-2002 The Moving Men TV commercials are a bit over-hyped, but the sliders do work very well. One must realize that all they do is reduce friction, making it easier to move large items. They do not make items less heavy and it will take some effort to insert them under heavy items. Even with Moving Men installed, it will take more effort to move heavier items than lighter ones, but at least they do make it possible to move those heavy items.
I recommend the Moving Men and I intend to purchase additional sets.

No more chiropractors Reviewer: Anonymous 12-01-2002 Even someone over 50 with a bad back can easily rearrange a room full of heavy furniture with these glides. No need to empty the bookcase. Just tip slightly and insert the glides. You can move television and audio equipment while still in the armoire. Dust under the king sized bed. They work on carpeting and bare floors. I love this product.

Overhyped Reviewer: Anonymous Dallas, TX 05-27-2002 This product has its uses but I feel that the TV spots overhype its value. The moving (especially for heavy items) is not as effortless as I would have liked it to be. And you need to have some strength to lift every leg to insert the moving man.

Highly Recommended Reviewer: Anonymous 03-02-2004 If you've got heavy stuff to move, Moving Men gives you all the power of having real men there. Highly recommended.

Moving Furniture "A Breeze." Reviewer: Anonymous 07-13-2002 Moving furniture is a breeze with these items.
The only issue is you need to lift the furniture slightly to slide the Moving Men under it.
The easiest way to do this is to tilt the piece of furniture from each corner and slide the Moving Men under with my foot.

Work OK if you have all day Reviewer: Anonymous 11-13-2004 These things work great if you move at a snail's pace and you only need to move things a few inches/feet at a time. OR, you have all day to move something across the hall.

get your back into it Reviewer: Ronald Clarke florida 09-07-2005 They are of some not much help if your moving furniture.

MOVING MEN Reviewer: L. Uherek Michigan, USA 08-02-2005 these are GREAT! worth every penny! worked for me to move my HEAVY brass bed by myself, also moved the entertainment center myself!
super product at a great amazon price!

Easy slider Reviewer: L. Uherek 07-28-2005 It is great for moving and rearranging furniture and also to put furniture on to protect your carpet and floor until it is in a stationary place.

Good, but scratched wood floor., Reviewer: Patrice Augustine Connecticut 07-05-2005 I used the product to move a heavy cabinet. They made it easy to move the cabinet, however, it made fine scratches on my hardwood floor.

not worth it Reviewer: Anonymous Ohio 03-07-2006 If something is heavy enough that I need these, its too heavy for them to work well. If its lighter, I might as well lift it myself, because I usually dont have a clear, straight path to push the furniture across. They also kept sliding out from under the furniture I was trying to move.

Worth every penny - brilliant Reviewer: VickyJ UK UK 08-02-2007 I have not seen the infomercials but the people who negate them have no idea what they are talking about. I have even used them to move a very heavy glass/metal table across decking - no mean feat let me tell you - and, once I got them into position, I was able to move the table by myself with no effort at all: I am a short tubby lady aged 58 with no strength at all!
Unfortunately, as I needed to move the table back again I left them in place and they came unstuck in the rain (they are not designed to get wet), so I need to get a new set and they are not readily available in the UK (I brought them on holiday in the US a couple of years back). I would recommend them to anybody.
