This matress is about as luxurious as your options can get. If you’re willing to shell out the extra bucks, I wholly believe the Deluxe to be the best bang for your buck. It is easy to inflate and deflate. Within sixty seconds it is fully inflated and ready to use. The AeroBed remains firm and comfortable all night long and for multiple nights without added maintenance. It is comfortable and convenient. I highly recommend it!

    Wonderful

This is a wonderful air mattress and, if you can find it on sale, a good deal. You will always have a "spare bed" on hand!

    Comgortable

The mattress is very quick to set up. You just pull it out of the bag, lay it out on the floor, plug it in and push on the pump button. It takes less than 60 seconds to inflate. All my guests who have slept on this bed have been most surprised at how comfortable it is. I like the fact that it is adjustable. It's a quality mattress and definitely worth the price.

    Very Pleased

I am very pleased with our deluxe aerobed. I have used it for at least 8 camping trips with excellent results. When it is time to break down camp, I just open the plug, and whoosh, the mattress is gone. Then you can easily refold it & place it in it's bag.

    A Headache
Reviewer: Anonymous       03-07-2004
This was just a headache from beginning to end. If you buy it, you'll wind up with holes & leaks even if you follow the instructions.

    Useless
Reviewer: Anonymous       02-20-2005
Two months after I bought this, it developed major leaks. It is now useless.

    It Leaks

It LEAKS!!! Forget this.

    A Must Have
Reviewer: Anonymous       02-20-2005
This does not feel like an air bed. Most noticeable was the absence of that "plastic" feel every time you roll over. If you have out of town guests, then this is a must have!

    Love it!

This is the most comfortable mattress I have ever used. I have two German Shepherds and two cats, and there is lots of jumping on this bed. I LOVE this bed.

    Extremely Comfortable

This bed is very user-friendly. I bought it when my father came to visit. He reported that it was extremely comfortable.

    LEAKY!! BAD!!
Reviewer: Lucinda M. Brown       05-04-2005
I bought 4 of these beds and they ALL leaked within a month! WAY too expensive for that to happen and I'm NOT the only one that has experienced this. They are NO Good for long term use and because the Leak is so small, I cannot find it to Repair it! I just have to continue to blow it up 5-6 times during the night! Awful!!

    OK BED

Its a bed. A bed is a bed. However it doesn't inflate

    Poor Durability over Time
Reviewer: "hardheadfarm"   Gray, Maine    02-05-2005
We bought the raised queen size bed three years ago to accommodate visiting relatives. Granted, it was an older model that the model offered herein. The concept was and still is great...a modern version of the venerable air mattress only without the glacial, agonizing inflation or the instability. The pump is quick and quiet and you can roll over in your sleep without that sickening man overboard feeling.
BUT the problem with this product is duability. Our experience in the past year has been that the seams begin to pull apart regardless if you use it a little or a lot. We used it little and have experienced subtle, then rapid failure, culminating in relatives unexpectantly having to sleep on the couch this Christmas. Of course the warranty has expired so we have no recourse. If you like spending $200 for a year or two of sporatic use, then by all means order the AeroBed. But if you need to rely on a spare mattress down the road, you should invest in another product. We wish we did.

    Great extra bed

Very few items come exactly as advertised. This one does. The bed takes only a minute to fully inflate, and seconds to deflate. It fits easily in it's storage bag (this is the first thing I've ever owned which actually fits into its case- I have about a thousand umbrella covers that no longer fit any umbrella) ANd most of all, the bed is very comfortable! I just wiah I had a little tiny nightstand to put next to it!

    Great product

This does exactly what it says - inflates and deflates quickly and easily, doesn't lose air pressure overnight, adjusts easily, rolls up small for storage. What more can you ask?

    Perfect Spare Bed
Reviewer: "inboston"   Brighton, MA USA    01-09-2003
I have used a number of different air mattresses in the past and I agree, this does not feel like your typical air mattress. The nice thing is the one-touch control that allows you to slightly adjust the firmness. As well, there are no hidden leaks that cause the bed to be completely deflated by morning. That was my biggest issue with other mattresses.

    A great extra bed

I bought the Deluxe Aerobed for my friend's kids to stay on. It inflated very quickly and deflated very easily. The kids are 6 and 8 and they jumped on the bed and there were no problems. I also tried out the bed and thought it was very comfortable when compared to other air mattresses I had slept on over the years. It didn't have the feel of a blown-up pool toy that a lot of air mattresses have. Overall, I would highly recommend the Deluxe Aerobed.

Whats with the air release valve
Reviewer: janice esposito   hoboken, nj USA    06-02-2002
My first suspicion that there might be a problem was with all the extra flyer insersts about how to open/close this valve. Well, no wonder. I have broken finger nails, I have asked others to help me with the valve, to no avail. To get the air out of the bed, I have to lie & roll on it to release the air. Its come to a point that when guests come over, I put pillows & sheets on my couch to not have to deal with the aerobed.

    Highly recommended!

I recently purchased this bed for use at my home-away-from-home. After four weeks of use, I could not have been more satisfied. The instructions for inflation were very easy to understand and took just moments to inflate with the built-in pump. Comfort can be easily controlled with the touch of a button by allowing for additional inflation or deflation. The one warning I would give is that because of the pump (it is built in on the head of the bed) sheets will not wrap completely under the top of the bed, nor will it sit snugly against a wall (only a slight annoyance as my pillow kept drifting away). All in all, the flaws were very minor and a small to price to pay for a good night of sleep. Don't waste money on the cheaper, flimsy air mattresses that deflate in hours and have you rolling around like a ship at sea. The AeroBed is a great product and you will not be disappointed!

    Aerobed

I already have one of these and want another one. Be careful to understand the differences between the aerobed, the "extra" aerobed and the "deluxe" aerobed. Make sure you compare apples with apples and oranges with oranges. You'll like this product.
