Great! Reviewer: Anonymous 07-14-2004 The Buttoneer is great. It is easy to use and holds very well on dress shirts.

Awful! Reviewer: Anonymous 08-19-2004 I could not figure this gizmo out. It has terrible instructions. I tried to go to the website for help, but it didn't exist!

It Works Reviewer: Anonymous 09-29-2003 This took some practice, so I advise you to try it first on some old shirts. It does work.

Great Product With One Flaw Reviewer: Anonymous 02-19-2005 I love this product. But I am very frustrated that there is no way to order extra fastners. Unfortunately you have to buy the whole thing just for an extra fifty fastners. I have brought 2 so far & am in need of extra fastners once again.

Awesome! Reviewer: Anonymous 05-22-2004 Being the "family tailor," this machine really helps! Dad's the kind of guy that wears his clothes until they practically fall off, so buttons are lost in droves. With Buttoneer, the repair takes seconds and the finished result is as if the button never fell off.

saves a lot of time Reviewer: Scott K. Sheck Wash. dc United States 07-19-2005 I must write a review because this device actually does work and really saves time especially if you are too lazy to use a thread and needle. I have fastened over 20 buttons and they have all stayed on except one. I admit thread is much stronger since the plastic tabs used on the buttoneer are only attached by a 'lip' on the plastic, but that it holds up for most all shirts and pants and is super quick to use, that is worth it.
The tabs are kind of strong, but it they were even stronger somehow, then I would give this product 5 stars.

Works great for me! Reviewer: Eric Bowers Candler, NC USA 05-25-2005 Being a bachelor, I have to sew buttons back on myself. This gadget is way easier than sewing. It uses little clear plastic fasteners that are very tough. I had several shirts in the back of my closet that were missing buttons. They are now all back in service!
You do have to get the hang of using it. All you have to do is take your time and follow the instructions

button what? Reviewer: Scoe SC 02-26-2005 Do not waste your money on this item. It does not work and is very overpriced.

replacements are available Reviewer: Anonymous 07-01-2006 You guys are so lazy that you can't spend more than a second on the internet to find refills for this gadget. Let me help facilitate your laziness and give you a link. Sorry I can't press the bottons for you.

Not good for pants or heavy usage Reviewer: FRUHD Sacramento, CA 07-23-2007 I started wearing dress pants for work and noticed that one by one my buttons were coming loose. Rather than sew them together I found Buttoneer refills at the local drug store but no actual Buttoneer. Eventually I was able to get my hands on the actual machine and spent about $25 total. The stupid thing didn't work. I tried a few more times and 7 tabs later I finally got it to work through a simple hem.
It claims to be
