This bed is very durable. It has lasted us 2 yrs so far. The children enjoy jumping on the bed and it still is in great shape. We haven't ever had to repair our bed. We've used it for camping & sleep overs. I highly recommend this bed.

Child Loves It!

My son loves it so much that he will ask to sleep in this instead of his regular bed. This bed blows up within a minute and is a breeze to deflate.

Sprung A Leak

My bed sprung a leak in a seam the first time I used it. It was not punctured. I couldn't use it that first night I needed it and haven't been able to use it since.

The first time I used this, it leaked at one of the seams. I tried patching it, but that didn't work. I was very disappointed and haven't had it out of the bag since I tried setting it up the first time

Great product, but you need a power outlet

Warning: the beds do NOT come with a rechargeable pump as described above (as of 3/18/05) but with the A/C pump with a long (14') cord. Per aero-bed customer service, they USED to come with a rechargeable pump. If you want one now, it can be purchased @$29.99. See www.thinkaero.com Something for campers to keep in mind; however, these are only suitable for car camping anyway, given their weight and bulk. That said, the beds are great, the kids love sleeping (bouncing, playing, etc.) on them, and don't roll out of bed. The A/C pump works great, inflating in seconds. Deflates in seconds, too. Mattress cover looks and feels nice,and stays put.

This is the greatest for travel!!!

If you are like me and have a child who has outgrown a pack a way crib but isn't quite ready for a bed without a bedrail (who wants to haul one of those on a trip after all) than this is the bed for you!!!! The raised sides do a great job of keeping your little one tucked safely in the bed...without being too high for your little one to climb off the bed when needed. We recently took this on a trip to Florida and our 2 year-old slept incredibly well! It was so easy to travel with too! If you are looking for a bed to take to Grandma's or on a trip this is perfect! Well worth the money!
