    A Great Workout
Reviewer: Anonymous       04-27-2004
When you're done with this video, you will have definitely had a great full body workout. You can keep the tape challenging by increasing the weights.

    Discovered New Muscles
Reviewer: Anonymous       07-09-2003
With this video you will discover muscles you thought you never had. The routines are really effective and innovative as well. My legs felt sore after the workout, but they felt good.

    Terrible Video Quality
Reviewer: Anonymous       02-07-2002
I actually liked the workout, but the video was such a poor quality that I'll never use this tape again.

    Mixed Feelings
Reviewer: Anonymous       01-28-2004
I loved the workout & would give it an A+, but I would give the sound quality a D-.

    Well Organized
Reviewer: Anonymous       02-01-2003
I like this workout because it is organized into 10 minute sections. it alternates working on the arms & the legs.

    Challenging & Fast Paced
Reviewer: Anonymous       09-21-2004
After using this tape for two months, I am extremely pleased with the results. The instructors & the music are both great. Because the moves are so fast paced, I sometimes need to hit the pause button!

    Too Much Repetition
Reviewer: Anonymous       01-27-2003
I found this tape really repetitive. The 2 arm & leg segments are almost identical.

    Best Workout Ever
Reviewer: Anonymous       08-16-2002
After only 4 workouts, I already see a big difference in my body. My arms & legs are firmer & my butt has lifted.

Another good workout from The Firm...
Reviewer: Teedums   Roseville, MN    03-07-2005
This is one of the tougher firms in my opinion. It is about
50 minutes long, with 4 different instructors leading the upper
and lower body segments. The first 10 minutes is led by Jen Carman, you work the upper body with double arm bent rows, bicep and hammer curls, upright rows, pushups, rear delt raises, french presses etc. A barbell is used in this and all the sections, but dumbells can easily be used if you don't have
a barbell or don't like using it. Then Nancy Tucker comes
in for 10 minutes of lower body work including plies, butt
squeezes, lunges and dips, squats and leg presses. Then the
lower body gets a rest and you go back to upper body for 10 more
minutes with Dale Brabham. She starts you off with some tough
shoulder work including upright rows with military presses followed by front and side delt raises, then you repeat with
a second set of uprights/militaries and front/side delt raises.
Then you go on to dead lifts (Good Mornings), bent over rows,
rear delt raises, tricep dips, pushups, one arm rows and more
biceps. Then Carissa Foster comes in with 10 more minutes of
lower body work, starting off with dips, then squats, lunges,
more squats, and some abductor/adductor work. She also leads
the short ab section and stretch.

This is a very thorough workout, all the muscle groups are hit
multiple times and adequately. The ab section is a bit short
with might bother some, but I didn't really mind it as I am usually spent at the end of this workout. Those looking for
a challenge will like this one.

THIS IS A DAMN GOOD WORKOUT....PERIOD...
Reviewer: Teedums   Illinois    04-27-2004
This workout is NO JOKE. Starts with a warm up and goes quickly through the routines of the four instructors. Ends with abdominal work and the cool down/stretch. At the end of the work out you have gotten everything you need for a full body workout, with tons of sweat to prove it. As you gain strength, increase the weights to maintain your own personal edge.

    Great Workout!,
Reviewer: Anonymous       02-23-2004
I received this video early this month, and it is my favorite one, along with Super Cardio. The exercises are very challenging and not boring. I love all the older firm workouts, and I never get tired of them. They are so much fun!!!
Thanks, You are the Best!!

Effective Body Sculpting - I Love It
Reviewer: Anonymous   Memphis, Tennessee    09-13-2005
I've been a Firm beliver for the past ten years and this is one of my favorite Firm videos. What I love about this video is that the routines are exceptionally effective and innovative. The lower body segment is very challenging. I didn't realize there were such movements as criss cross and curtsy lunges, until I used this video. After I completed the workout, my legs were sore but they felt good. I saw muscle definition in my legs the next day. I was very pleased with the results. I had broken my right femur 14 years ago and I could never work that right thigh muscle properly. Also the upper body segment is nothing to sneeze at either. Performing frontal arm raises and butterflies are challenging enough while standing. Just try doing them while bending over the fanny lifter. You'll discover muscles you thought you never had. Trust me, you will definitely feel the burn and develop lovely muscle definition and strength in you upper arms. Your reward is that you'll feel better and look great in the latest fashions. Overall, I give this video an A +++. You'll love it.

One of my favorite FIRM videos
Reviewer: "kathyzook"   Tampa, FL USA    06-03-2003
This is one of my favorites! It's demanding even for the most experienced FIRM addict. At first, the audio/video was fine on my copy, but after several viewings it deteriorated rapidly. I'm ordering another one anyway! THE FIRM definitely works!

    Great stuff
Reviewer: Anonymous       12-27-2002
This is a great weight training work out. It is longer than a lot of the weight training videos I have (which is great) and the moves are safe & easy to pick up. Some of the exercises are taught with a barbell but dumbells work just as well as far as I'm concerned. There are some squats and leg lift type exercises in this video (as well as abs) also that I skip because I find them hard but the rest of it is great and my muscles feel worked and my body warm afterwards! Always a great sign of a good workout!!
The audio quality is not perfect but I find it gets better as it goes along and you really just have to turn up the volume in the beginning and that helps a lot.

did this tape last night and I am sore all over
Reviewer: Anonymous       12-20-2002
This tape is awesome. I purchased it because I wanted to add to my FIRM collection. I'm always looking for a tough workout and by buying this tape, I found it. It is for the intermediate to advanced user. Beginners can also use this tape but trust me, stay away from the weights. It has a lot of upper body work; not as much lower body as I'm used to but I still had a great workout nonetheless. I recommend it to the person that is serious about working out. If your serious, I would also recommend that you add The first FIRM tape with Susan Harris as the instructor to your collection. It is the toughest workout I have EVER experienced in life but it's also my favorite. I apologize for having to punish you in this way; however, if your serious, you will definately see results.

    Awesome Workout!
Reviewer: Anonymous       06-14-2002
I have several Firm videos and this is one of the best! It's really tough and thoroughly works out all the major muscles. It's fast paced and sometimes hard to keep up with it - had to hit the pause button a couple of times. My only complaint is that the ab section is only a couple of minutes long and didn't seem long enough, compared to all the time spent on lunges, squats, etc. But overall, I do think this is one of the best Firm workouts I've done so far. Maximum Body Shaping and Firm Strength are also awesome. By the way, I didn't notice any problems with the sound on my copy.

    great video, poor production
Reviewer: phoenix "phoenix5"   NJ United States    04-11-2002
I agree with the remarks about the poor quality of the videos since Goodtimes took over. I ordered three Firm videos recently and had to have all of them replaced, one of them I had to have 2 replacements sent to me!! I am a fan of the Firm, but these productions need some improvements. It seems to me that they are trying to save money, but short-changing the customers is the worst way to do that. Great workouts, mediocre editing.

Maybe you need a new VCR
Reviewer: Anonymous       04-10-2002
I don't understand the poor quality remarks I read, my version seems fine! Either way, this video is a great workout. I have a lot of the firm videos and I was happy to find one that focused completely on weight lifting and scultping.
If you read fitness magazines and see all the moves they teach to sculpt and tone your body, but hate trying to read all the directions and tearing out pages... this is the perfect video. Everything I see in the magazines is in this video, and it's coached well to motivate you. Don't give up on it, it's tough and will take even the most fit person a few trys before you aren't totally sore the next morning.

    Very poorly copied
Reviewer: Anonymous       03-31-2002
I love FIRM videos and own about 30, but these new releases by Goodtimes Entertainment are a disgrace to the reputation of the FIRM. The videos are not recorded in stereo and the quality of the picture is terrible. I can't stand to even do this video. It's like a cheap bootleg copy.

FIVE STARS FOR THIS WORKOUT! 2 for audio
Reviewer: Anonymous       03-12-2002
FIRM videos are the best! The cross trainers Super Sculpt and Super Cardio are my FAVORITE Firm videos! My old favorite used to be Body Sculpting Basics but these two are great!
I didn't want to give the workout a less than five star review because I love it, but I didn't want to scare off buyers because of the star rating.
I agree with the poor audio quality. It sounds like it is not in stereo, like the audio is very flat. There is no bass, and it does sound like they didn't make these tapes in stereo quality like most movies.
I WISH the audio was better, I LOVE LOVE these tapes! The music is fabulous and the routines are better than most FIRMS.
Jennifer Carman is fabulous in this video. I like her beginning segments, she begins right away with sitting arm work, including tough bicep work! Nancy Tucker and her dips and curtsy dips really works me!
A+ workout
D- sound quality

    kick-butt video
Reviewer: Anonymous       03-10-2002
this video is great. awesome lower body and upper body work. the pulsing leg pulses and great and truly effective. what can i say, I love THE FIRM!

Poor video quailty, but a great workout
Reviewer: Anna   Dutch Harbor, AK United States    02-27-2002
The quaility of the video is not very good. My older vcr did not handle it very well. We have a new vcr and the video seems to be much better. I like the workout warm up 4 min. Weight training 39.0, abdonminal 3.0, cool down 3.0, total time 49.0. A challanging workout with barbell ,step stools and weights. The video quality could use some help.

    bad video quality
Reviewer: Wendy Jaehnig   Kalamazoo, MI United States    02-07-2002
I have the same issue as the previous reviewer -- the content of the video is great, as always with the Firm. However, the video quality is really bad. The audio was really low. My previous Firm tapes, which I have used over and over again, have much higher audio and video quality.

    yep, terrible quality
Reviewer: Anonymous       02-07-2002
I agree with the previous review - the video quality on this tape is truly appalling. It'a a pity goodtimes have decided against giving customers what they are paying for. As a workout, it's pretty good but because of the quality of recording, I've only played it once.

    very bad video quality
Reviewer: Anonymous       01-16-2002
The work out is great but the quality of the video is so bad I don't want to put it back in my new vcr.
Goodtimes entertainment, who is now making the firm videos sure knows how to cut corners to save a buck. It's a real shame, because the Firm is really the best workout on the market.
