It's Simple & Fun To Use Reviewer: Anonymous 09-04-2004 A main attraction of this machine is that it is small and portable and you don't need a huge area to work out in. The video that is included is excellent. The workout session is fun and is divided into two sections (1) the 10 minute Easy(2) the 10 minute Powerstep Workout.
Not A Good Workout Reviewer: Anonymous 01-08-2005 It takes at least 45 minutes for me to work up a sweat on this machine. If you're an athletic person looking to this piece of equipment for winter activities, just buy a real treadmill or elliptical machine. You're not going to get much of a work out here.
piece of junk Reviewer: R. Miller 02-20-2005 The concept is great, works the legs well, but it's made like junk. I'm on the second machine within 1 year (speaking as a user that's not even considered to be overweight). After only use of 1/2 hr a day within 4 months, the chain shatters and machine is completely broken. When I say shatters, I do mean into about 10 tiny pieces all over the floor while you are on it! So I also consider this dangerous.
Not so hot Reviewer: ricky CA 06-22-2005 I had it for a little over one year used it about 20 times for about 25 mins each time. While I was using it one day the chain just broke - my weight is 130 - just in case you were wondering. If I was an unsteady person I may have hurt myself, but I was able to steady myself and not fall off. The good point was, while it was working it gave the legs a good working.
So Far So Good Reviewer: Anonymous 04-12-2005 If you're used to the Nordic Track Elliptical - this product is not for you! For those of us who cannot afford one or do not have the space - the Lateral Thigh Trainer might actually work! I am an avid exercise equipment junkie, whose purchased many different pieces over the years and returned them. It's going on 30 days and have not yet returned this one. It's a pretty good little workout and you can leave it in your living room so you can watch TV while exercising! It's a little clunky at first - but after you memorize the "stopping point" on the way down...it gets better. Will write more later -
