Poorly Constructed Reviewer: Anonymous 01-25-2004 I purchased The Body By Jake Machine in January of 2003. It is an understatement to say that this machine is poorly constructed. The weld on the pivot arm broke after a few months and it took numerous calls and emails before it was replaced. The power bands break regularly & I've been waiting months for replacements. There is no way I would recommend this product.

Save Your Money! Reviewer: Anonymous 01-14-2004 For a man who weighs 200+ pounds, this machine provides no exercise at all.
After 3 weeks of working out with it, I had absolutely no results.

Poor construction but good customer support Reviewer: Anonymous 07-29-2003 I purchased this machine because I needed to strengthen my lower back & abdominals after having 2 back surgeries. Although the machine is well designed, its construction is really poor. I did get replacement parts quickly, so their customer support is excellent.

Somewhat Satisfied Reviewer: Anonymous 05-10-2004 The machine seems to generally work OK. However the bands on the machine are weak. I've already broken 2 of them & am waiting for replacements.

A Big Hassle Reviewer: Anonymous 08-21-2004 I ordered this machine & waited over 5 weeks for it to arrive. It did not provide a good workout for me, so I returned it. I have had nothing but problems trying to get a credit for this. This company and the machine are not worth all this hassle.

No Good If You're Tall Reviewer: Anonymous 01-10-2004 I've used this machine on & off for 10 years. I am 6 feet 5 inches & find that the position of the exercise arms don't sit properly to do the exercies as described. Also, the leg presses are impossible for us taller folks.

Machine Poorly Constructed Reviewer: Anonymous 03-18-2003 Although I have enjoyed using the machine and the company has been prompt in replacing parts, the bottom line is the machine is really poorly constructed and will not hold up to moderate use.

Relieves Pressure on Your Spine Reviewer: Anonymous 01-30-2004 This machine is really effective for developing your arms, chest and abdomen, without giving you discomfort. I would definitely recommend it.

Good Upper Body Workout Reviewer: Anonymous 08-16-2003 This machine gives my upper body a good workout. I bought it to help rehabilitate my shoulder after an injury & I really like it. However, after only 6 weeks, the pivot arm cracked where it is welded to the pivot tube. I am currently waiting for a replacement part.

Exceptionally Pleased Reviewer: Anonymous 05-15-2002 I use this machine every day and am exceptionally pleased. The machine is extremely compact and light, yet the excercises cover the full range. This is the first machine that has actually worked for me.
