This is a gimmick! Reviewer: Anonymous 02-02-2004 Yep this is good advice.....just the name should tell you that 6 second abs
is a gimmick. Also, if you REALLY want a 6 pack, you'll hafta slim down to about 10-15%
body fat before your "6 second abs" will start to appear. It wouldn't matter
if you've got the most monstrous abs in the world, if there is a spare tire
covering them up, no one will see them....and contrary to popular belief,
doing ab workouts such as crunches and situps WILL NOT slim down your
stomach....there is no way to "spot reduce" fat. You have to burn it the old
fashioned way through diet and exersize. When you do this you will lose fat
all over your body, there is no way to target a certain area...period, do
some research, it's simply not possible (save lyposuction) at the time of
this writing. Building muscles is one of the best ways to lose fat because
it increases your metabolism and makes your body burn more energy even when
resting....just keep your diet under control and you'll do fine. Good luck!

It's Junk! Reviewer: Anonymous 02-17-2004 I think it's junk and you won't use it for very long. Another one of those super
ab machines from an infomercial. If you want to do something at home, lay on
your back with butt up against the couch and lower legs up and crunch. If that
gets too easy, buy yourself a weight plate or a set or two of dumbells and hold
across your chest while you do the crunches.

A Silly Marketing Gimmick Reviewer: Anonymous 03-22-2004 What you get for your hard earned but wasted money, is two videos, a guidebook, and the crunch gadget itself. This is nothing more than a silly marketing gimmick by a firm that wants to sell you a product that costs a good bit of money for something that you can do for free. If you want better abs, do crunches and other exercises that will build your ab muscles.

Easy to Use Reviewer: Anonymous 07-27-2004 This machine is very easy to use & does not take much time. However this regime will not work without also eating a healthy diet.

From size 14 to size 10 Reviewer: Anonymous 10-12-2004 After following the program for about a month, I've gone from a size 14 jeans to size 10. The program for me includes the ab workout, cardio-strength workout, additional cardio training (as recommended by the program), and a low-fat, low-calorie diet. I have also noticed that I am gaining strength in both upper and lower body from the strength workouts. I am 44 and had a rather typical middle-age-lady pouch at my lower belly which is now GONE! In addition, this exercise program has made a low-cal diet easy to stick to, because my metabolism has jumped and I simply eat less.

It's not a miracle machine Reviewer: Anonymous 06-22-2004 After three weeks of using this every other day in conjunction with a Pilates program, I've lost a half inch off my waistline and my abdominal muscles are noticeably stronger. This machine has some merit in that it encourages discipline in abdominal exercises. However it is not the miracle machine of the infomercial and is overpriced.

2 good things to say Reviewer: Anonymous 07-30-2004 After 3 months of using this machine I can say 2 good things about it. The first is that you will really feel it working in your lower abs. Secondly, the device is so easy to use that you can do it while watching TV. However the bands & the video are both a rip off. I have seen changes in my entire body which is now more firm, but it is due to the combination of all elements (diet, exercise and abs), and it has taken 3 months for me and others to notice.

Good for beginners Reviewer: Anonymous 04-26-2004 If you can put up with the cheerfulness of the video lady, you will see results. I would recommend it to someone just starting a fitness routine, or someone who doesn't want to invest in numerous machines.

Don't buy this product! Reviewer: Anonymous 12-01-2004 I was dissapointed by the quality and unusefulness of the product, so I shipped it back. I still have not received a refund & am sure this is just a rip off!

Hidden Costs Reviewer: Anonymous 06-18-2004 I payed $120.00 after counting in shipping & the costs of the higher resistance bands. These bands were a joke, offering little resistance, if any.

Works great for me!, Reviewer: K. J. Keller "OboeBirdie" Watertown, WI 10-15-2004 Hey, I read the reviews and was hesitant, but I trust my sister more than strangers. I just bought this product, used it last night and I feel great!
The workouts on the DVDs are kinda corny, but the actual exercises more than make up for it.
The product comes with the Ab cruncher, 4 weights (2 15 lbs and 2 25 lbs), and 2 DVDs. One DVD has the 6 Second Ab workout and the Total Body Workout. (I had to go buy a strength band extra...but thank God for employee bonuses!) The other DVD has the Fat Burning Cardio Workout, which is also great!
All in all, I'd have given this 5 stars, but I gave it 4 because I needed to buy the band extra. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for an effective, less-pain-in-the-back way to work out on the abs.
