A Kid's Review Reviewer: Anonymous 10-05-2005 This toy is great. I use it 2 times a day. I don't have any problems with it. This toy is the greatest gift I got for New Year's Day! I recommend you buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great toy!! Reviewer: Anonymous 03-20-2005 I went to the toy store with my uncle and he got this toy for me
it was not that much fun at first because you can barely see the image on the blank piece of paper so my picture was terrible. Then after I got used to it it was very fun. it comes with pictures like dolphins, raidios ,microphones, dogs and more it comes with backrounds,3 color marker ,magnets, color pencils, pencil sharpenerand more! The only way to like didji draew is yo give it a chance.

Don't waste your money!! Reviewer: Kimberlyn Pedersen "missy" Alaska 03-05-2005 My 9 year old son has been wanting this for a long time now. I finally get it for him. Its really hard to get the panels in. After putting the panels in we can't see the image on the blank piece of paper. We tried by light and nothing. He was very dissapointed and said he hated it. I think they should take it off the market until they can make it useable!!

Digi-Draw RULES Reviewer: M O'Neill "M O'Neill" Allentown, PA USA 01-11-2005 My mother told me a month before Christmas that she purchased the Digi-Draw for my 4 year old daughter. I read the reviews and became very nervous. Well, on my daughter's first attempt, she had some difficulties and gave up right away. We brought it back out the next day and she did really well. I didn't have any problems putting it together, took about 10 seconds, and as long as you're in good lighting, it works great. She uses it everyday and loves it now. I think it's a great way for kids to learn to never give up, and have better coordination and concentration.

Surprise! It really does snap in! Reviewer: M O'Neill "M O'Neill" Midway, USA 12-26-2004 Just wanted to review this toy on Christmas night after trying all day to get these plastic pieces in so they would stay, and searching the internet to find out what I was doing wrong, that they do in fact snap in. It took all day, but we finally did it! You have to put it on a hard surface, such as the kitchen table, and we had one person hold the thing while another applied quite a bit of force to snap the things in. It takes effort! Good luck with yours. My kids haven't even got to use it yet to rate it, but I was so excited we got them in that I thought I would share with other frustrated parents who may be searching for help this Christmas. Happy Holidays!

We really enjoy it! Reviewer: Two of four hops "ctajhs" La Crosse, WI 12-19-2004 I am ordering this toy for my niece because my daughter loves it so much. We bought it for her 2 years ago, when she was 6. She loves drawing with it, even in the car while we are traveling. I am very much surprised to see the negative responses written here. We snapped it together without a problem, it stays together and after your eyes adjust to the image, it's a breeze to trace (we use tape or the magnets to hold the tracing paper in place). We love it and the unlimited artistic renditions it allows our resident artist to draw.

This makes me mad! Reviewer: Anonymous 12-14-2004 This toy always moves when you try to drawl! It makes me so mad!! I am always doing art and this is horible compaired to what I have. Me and my friends have tryed and tryed to make it stay still and it never will!! I would defantly not suggest you to buy this toy!!

Easy enough! Reviewer: C. Waller "mywallerbear" NC 11-12-2004 I bought this product prior to reading the comments posted here. When I read all of the complaints, my heart sank. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 7-year old daughter who loves to draw and I don't want her to be disappointed. I decided to put it together and test it myself before deciding whether to return it or put it away as one of her Christmas gifts. I removed it from the box and snapped it together in less than two minutes. I had no problems getting the reflector panels to snap properly into place (don't be afraid to use a little pressure). I drew two pictures (provided with the kit) and had little problem with the "floating image" once my eyes adjusted to the situation. (It's not going to be like tracing through a sheet of paper or from something projected on the page like the Crayola Trace Projector.) I think this is a good product and I believe my daughter will absolutely love it. Only time will tell if it is durable enough.

Don't waste your money! Reviewer: C. Waller "mywallerbear" Hawaii 08-21-2004 I bought this for my grandson he's been wanting it for a while.
It's very hard to trace a picture. I even had a hard time. Save your money!

Waste of Money Reviewer: EarlyBird Shopper SC 08-04-2004 We bought this for our daughter for Christmas. She tried it but
it didn't work very well. It was hard to keep open; the plastic
look-through page kept falling out and she couldn't hold it all still enough to actually trace the hard to see images. It's August and it's sitting on her shelf in "like-new" condition. What a waste of money.

Useless Reviewer: L. DeLair So. Plainfield, NJ 08-04-2004 I purchased this product for my granddaughter. We couldn't get the sides to stand up for a long time. Finally, after some frustration, they worked. Then when she tried to copy the image, it didn't show accurately and the sides fell down. It is a very frustrating and useless item.

Easy set-up? No way! Reviewer: S. Gillen "Emom" Illinois 07-29-2005 I was unable to get the reflector panels to snap into place no matter how many times I tried. Infuriating! Ended up cracking one corner which really upset me. Tried taping them, tying them together; nothing worked. My daughter was so disappointed. If anyone can tell me how to make this thing work, please post it! I also emailed the company asking for help and have gotten no response. Really think I wasted my money this time.

Absolutely Worthless Reviewer: L. Hatala New Jersey 07-25-2004 This product is a rip-off and I would not recommend it to anyone, old or young. It is VERY difficult to use!!! Do not waste your money.

This product is awful Reviewer: san Birmingham 07-25-2004 I bought this product for my 11 year old daughter who has great artistic talent. I thought this would be a way to encourage her growth. After about a month of constantly asking her about the product, she finally showed me how difficult it was to use and how the floating image ended up being a hinderance. This was a complete waste of money and I advice anyone who wants to trace an image to just do it the old fashioned way.

Duped by t.v. magic.... Reviewer: The Watcher Atlanta, GA 07-21-2004 Impossible....the people who wrote good reviews for this product must be trying to sell it. The image appears on the plates. You have to look through the plates to "trace" on the paper, and if the light isn't right the images don't show on the plates. Trash...trash...trash.

Worked Very Well For Us Reviewer: "graywolf_70" 07-13-2004 At first I thought the same of the reflective pieces, that they would not go in, however, on second a second attempt they infact do snap into and stay in place very, very well.
As for the "floating image" yes, at first I too thought, "Okay, this is 'floating' just a bit too high for tracing purposes," but when another light was turned on in the room, everything meshed perfectly.
My son LOVES this toy. We have not had any problems with the reflective plates coming out and all of his traced drawings with the Digidraw come out beautifully. I've noticed an increase in his attention detail and depth now when freehand drawing.

Piece Of Cr#p - does not work well Reviewer: JBogue Spicewood, TX United States 07-30-2004 My son had wanted one of these for about 2 years, after seeing them on TV being advertised. I tried telling that things on TV NEVER work like they promise. But, he still wanted one.
Then Spiderman 2 came out and they released a Spiderman Digidraw and I finally relented and we went to the store for the sole purpose of buying a Spiderman 2 Digidraw. There were alot of pieces in the box so I made them wait until they got home to open the box.
When we got home, my 7 year old tried putting it together and got extremely frustrated, so I jumped in and tried. After many attempts we came the conclusion (a 31 yr old, a 7 yr old, and a 6 yr old) that this product is very poorly made. The plates do not snap into place and fall as soon as they are touched. The image reflected on the paper is very hard to see and trace. In the end the kids just wanted to keep the colorful images of spiderman, but they were all backwards so that they would reflect correctly.
We have decided to return the Digidraw and I consider it a well learned lesson the AS SEEN ON TV translates into PIECE OF CR#P!
Save your moeny and get a coloring book and tracing paper instead

It Works!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reviewer: Anonymous 05-23-2004 When I saw the reviews Ithought this toy was junk. I thought I should try it. It was so easy. (...)This toy has MAGICAL markers. It's so easy to keep in place with the magnets.Even a 2 year old could use this toy.(...)

Don't waste your money! Reviewer: Anonymous 05-23-2004 I bought "2" of these, as we had a very long flight to Japan ahead of us and I needed something to occupy my 5 and 6 year olds. What a huge mistake! We got very frustrated trying to assemble them and even more frustrated trying to trace the images. If I could of opened the plane door, I would of thrown them out at 30,000 feet! What's really annoying is that I can't even return them as I bought them in L.A. and we live in Japan!

Disappointed in Maryland Reviewer: Anonymous 05-04-2004 My daughter saw this advertised on television quite sometime ago, and asked for it several times. We finally decided to buy it online, received it today (after much anticipation!), and she is completely disappointed. To begin with, the reflection plates don't actually snap in, as the directions say they do. Next, the reflection, while visible, is very difficult to trace. In fact, I had trouble, too! Last, after trying many different images (and thinking that the next one would be easier!), my daughter tried tracing an animated cartoon. I decided to line it up for her, thinking that would help get her started, and it was impossible to do! She is ten, and is quite artistic. This toy, however, has been nothing but a letdown! She feels taken advantage by the television advertisement, and doesn't want to try it again! We are sending it back tomorrow!!
I only wish I had been smart enough to read these online reviews before we purchased Digi Draw!

Very disappointed Reviewer: Linda Pennsylvania 03-29-2004 My 5 year old daughter finally received this for her birthday after months of asking for it, and was very excited, at least until she tried it. I should have read some kind of reviews on this before letting someone pick it up for her. I couldn't get the plates to stay in right. My daughter had a very hard time tracing the images. When I tried to show her how to use it I couldn't do it either!!! We're taking it back tonight and getting her something else that she can play with without the frustration. My daughter is very angry that they "tricked" her into thinking it was easy. I wouldn't give this toy any stars if it was an option. The only thing good about it is it won't take up much space in the trash when you break the plates trying to assemble the thing.

very hard and not at all fun! Reviewer: nicole olschewske dallas,ga 01-07-2004 My daughter is 7 and also got this for xmas and was very excited...until she tried it,the image "floats on the page" and was very hard to follow unless you close one eye! She was very upset that she couldn't do it as easily as it seemed on tv and neither could I for that matter. It is going back to the store and I dont recommend it for anyone, child OR adult!!

Don't fall for TV ads-NOT as EXPECTED! Reviewer: Katrina A. Taylor Gresham, Oregon United States 12-26-2003 "Santa" brought this for my 7 year old, as it was what he wanted for the last 2 years.First, was VERY hard to put together and get it to stay together........crossing your fingers that you dont snap the reflection plates while doing this. Then, looking thru the reflection plates and attempting to copy is hard enough for an adult much less a child. Also gives you a headache as its a little blurry. Also hard to follow along the lines and copy picture. If the paper moves, you are done.VERY FRUSTRATING for a 7 year old.Its going back to the store tomorrow and we are getting something else.
