This is a really awesome item to have , it straightens my hair which is really long with ease and in just a few minutes. It gets super hot. Easy to use.

The package it comes in does not claim the product is ceramic. Only that it is Gold Series.

My hair was very frizzy, VERY frizzy. It became curly right after I washed it. I disliked it, that was untill I bought this. The VS straightener heats up in 1 minute! It has 25 heat settings, so even if your hair is almost straight you can still use it. It works pretty quickly too, in about 10-20 minutes, my frizzy hair becomes sleek, shiny, and beautiful. Plus, because it is a ceramic straightener, it barely damages my hair. At the ends, they have tabs, so you can close it without burning yourself! There is also a light that tells you if the straightener is on. I gave it 4 stars because sometimes, it snags your hair. Other than that, it is a very good straightener. I reccomend purchasing it.

I love this straightener! I have had two other straighteners including one from a salon that cost over $80 and this one works much better then either of the other two. All my friends also love it and are always asking to barrow it.

This was a great straightener for the money. My only complaint is that my hair keeps getting caught in between the straightener and the edge. I just have to be careful of that.

This straightener only has 170 watts of heating power. That is not a very good number! If you want salon-straight hair you need a ceramic straightener with 1875 watts... especially if you have thick or very frizzy hair!

I never thought that I could get my hair straight enough to actually like it. Until I found this VS Sassoon straightener. It is THE BEST!! I use it all the time and I love the way that it makes my hair look shiny and feel feather soft. I would tell anyone with wavy or curly hair who wants super straight, soft hair, to use this product. You can't go wrong!!

Usually VS Sasson is a good brand but this one I was not happy with one. I didn't straighten at all, even after I blew out the hair. Didn't flatten or defrizz. I do not reccomend.

I have this straightener,and it works wonders. I dont have curly hair,but my hair usually flips at the ends,and ahs random waves in it, and it looks TERRIBLE. I love this straightener because it get SUPER hot,and it takes ALOT of heat to straighten my stubborn hair, also,I sometimes use this straightener to CURL my hair,starting at the roots and twirling the straightener as I move it down to the tips. WORTH EVERY PENNY.
