    Waste of Money

Nad's is worse than useless. It left me with red goose bumps. Don't waste your money on this product.

    Bleeding & Bruised

Nad's made me bleed and left bruises all over! I warn you-- don't use it. The sites where I used this awful product, were sore for days.

    Effective & Works Well
Reviewer: Anonymous       10-30-2004
I found that Nad's does not hurt like most other products of this type. It's effective & is not a waste of money and it works well!

    Product Should Be Banned.

They should ban this dangerous product! When I bought it, I thought it would remove my hair. Instead it left big red bumps and caused me to break out. It does not even work at all.

    Better Than Hot Waxing
Reviewer: Anonymous       07-03-2004
Although this is not as painful as hot waxing, it is not exactly pain free either. It is slightly messy & it left a rash for a few hours afterwards, but this eventually faded.

    Waste of Money

This product is a waste of money and time. I tried it seven times to make sure I was applying it correctly. It didn't work as they had advertised it would.

    Sent It Back
Reviewer: Anonymous       06-30-2004
This product is a total scam. Nad's removed very little of the hair on my legs and almost none from my bikini and underarm area. Plucking individual hairs would have been as effective as this product was so I sent it back.

    Only Works On Fine Hair
Reviewer: Anonymous       05-17-2004
Nad's only works on baby fine hair. My daughter, who never has shaved in her life, used it & it worked great. But for me it was a sticky mess & didn't work at all.

Once you master the technique, this really ROCKS!,
Reviewer: Anonymous   Wynnewood, PA    08-23-2005
I read the other reviews before writing this & I can understand perfectly why the other reviewers made the criticisms they did & why they had the problems they described. This wax IS a little tricky to use at first, but once you have mastered it, it works b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l-l-y! My 11-year old daughter has developed hairy lower legs in the last year & has been begging to have them waxed, as I used to do to my own before the "miracle of electrolysis"! When I remembered how frequently I managed to overheat the conventional wax for myself using the conventional method & how difficult it was to remove the little bits of wax that are usually left clinging to the skin, I decided to try the Nad's, because (a) it is used at room temperature & (b) all residue dissolves immediately & competely in water. My daughter & I spent an hour "perfecting" our technique & the learning curve was enormous, but by the end, we were *really* ripping! The next time I did her legs we managed to do them *both* in about 20 minutes. Here are my tips to use Nads with terrific results: (1) Spread the wax on in a Very, Very Thin Layer. Repeat: Very, Very THIN!!! When first removed from the jar with the spatula provided, the wax is very thick & extremely difficult to spread, so it's easy, if you rush, to make the layer too thick, which will mean that when you remove the cloth strip, the bulk of the wax will come off with it, but the hair & the thin layer you should have limited yourself to will stick to the skin!. So, spread some wax in one spot in a thick layer initially, then do the same on another spot on the skin. After 20-30 seconds or so, the skin will have warmed the wax in the earlier spot sufficiently that you will then be able to spread it in the very, very thin, nearly transparent layer that is what you NEED in order for the Nads to work! (2) Place the strip of cloth over the thinly waxed area, rub it on thoroughly, then -- IMPORTANT -- Let It Just Sit for another 30-40 seconds (or more) while you wax another area of the skin. I discovered, by accident, how very, very, very helpful it is to wait before removing. If I had to do it all over again, I would apply wax to half the leg, apply the strips & let them sit while I applied wax to the other half of the leg, strip the first half, let the second set of strips set while I applied wax to the first half of the 2nd leg, & so on... (3) The cloth strips provided are fine, but strips torn from an old sheet work even better. You cannot re-use a cloth strip until AFTER you have rinsed it clean AND dried it (this is essential to remember), so raid the ragbin! (4) Hold the skin TAUT while ripping the cloth strip off. This also makes a HUGE difference. (5) Pay attention to the direction in which you apply the Nad's wax (in the direction the hair grows) & the direction in which you rip off the cloth strip (the opposite direction). Summary: It took almost 50 minutes of trial & error to do my daughter's first leg correctly, 10 to do her second one. The second time we did it, it took a total ot 20 minutes for both legs & her skin was not the least bit irritated. I hope a few other folks will benefit from What We Learned!

great, but follow directions to the letter
Reviewer: Tammie   sacramento, CA    08-06-2005
I just used Nads for the first time today, and it worked very well. I have read reviews in the past where people said it left red bumps and bruises. The trick is to apply a VERY thin layer of gel and very quickly apply the strip. The directions say to apply the gel, put on the strip, rub it in the direction of the hair, and rip it off, all in 20 seconds, which is a little tough, but it's the best way to do it, if you can. This is much less painful than waxing, but not quite as effective. I really do love this product - it will save me a fortune in waxing! Just know that you have to grow your hair out much longer, and the Nads won't get all the little hairs that waxing does, but I think the pain factor alone is reason enough to go with Nads!

    Please dont waste your time

1) I followed the directions and have used products like it before, but it burned and stung.
2) I had little red bumps from it.
3) It didnt remove the hair, but then again, maybe I washed it off to soon due to the burning and pain.
4) LADIES, JUST STICK TO PROFESSIONAL WAXING OR SHAVING!

It works if ya do it right!

I am sure this product could cause a rash...that is what a patch test is for. Test a small area of skin first. It is also important to follow the directions precisely to get good results. The angle the hair is pulled away from the skin is VERY important. You must hold the strip down, close to the skin and pull away in a more horizontal angle than a vertical motion. If you know how to hot wax, this product works just as well. It is all in the technique. PROVIDING you are not allergic. Also there are products made to smooth post shaving/ waxing/

    Works great if used correctly
Reviewer: Anonymous       10-16-2006
Nads is actually a very, very good product. I love it and have been using it for years with good results. The problem lies in applying the wax too thickly or not allowing it time for your skin to warm the wax. Time and a little practice will help a lot.

    It worked fine for me
Reviewer: Anonymous   Los Angeles    11-26-2006
I used the Nads wax because I am a big baby when it comes to waxing pain, it worked great on larger areas like legs/arms etc, but as far as waxing eyebrows, you need to be a nads pro to do it or else you'll end up with a bald face (not pretty!). I didn't have any rash that others complained of, It actually worked the way the informercial showed, I used the same strip over and over and it still took off hair, I guess the only thing is that it won't work on short hair (that's with any wax).
